DURATION —— 2h GROUP SIZE — 3–6 AGE ————— 12+ ABOUT Create a ceramic piece that is uniquely yours — a name sign, Hamsa, house blessing, inspirational word, or decorative wall piece. You’ll begin with up to 3 pre-prepared clay slabs, approximately 9" × 6", and transform them into meaningful pieces of wall art through text, pattern, texture, and color. The instructor will introduce a variety of creative surface decoration techniques, including underglaze painting, sgraffito, Mishima, stenciling, and commercial or handmade decals. You’ll see how each technique works and then experiment with combining them to create your own personal design. Whether you choose a meaningful word, a favorite symbol, your family name, or simply a beautiful pattern, this workshop is all about exploring surface decoration and expressing your own style to create something special to display at home. WHAT'S INCLUDED Everything you need is included: clay, tools, decorating materials, and hands-on instruction . All pieces will be finished by the instructor, including bisque firing, application of clear glaze, and high firing. PICKUP Completed work will be ready for pickup in approximately 4–5 weeks.
