Rinat Kol Schwartz
RK.ClayPlay is the pottery studio of Rinat Kol Schwartz, who leads all workshops and classes in her cozy private studio in Sunnyvale, California. As the sole instructor, she provides each student with personal attention and guidance as they explore their creativity.
The studio offers a variety of pottery experiences for all levels — from one-time private workshops to weekly ongoing classes — in a relaxed, small-group environment where hands-on learning, creativity, and connection go hand in hand. Class sizes are kept small, ranging from 1- 6 people, depending on the session. This allows Rinat to bring personal attention to each one of her students, making the learning environment personalized and effective.
RK.ClayPlay studio is equipped with four wheels, a slab roller, a broad assortment of pottery tools, and a variety of underglazes and unique glazes — some made by Rinat herself — all to help students bring their ideas to life. Clay preparation and firing are handled by Rinat, so pieces are properly prepared and finished while students focus on the creating aspect.
Private workshops are hands-on, guided experiences in small groups, focused on a single project or technique. Step-by-step instruction allows students to explore pottery in a fun, creative, and relaxing way.
Weekly ongoing classes provide a supportive and creative space for students to develop their pottery skills at their own pace. Classes are limited to 6 participants, and whether students choose hand-building or wheel-throwing, they receive personalized guidance while working on projects that inspire them.
RK.ClayPlay believes pottery should be joyful, accessible, and shared. Whether students are learning for the first time, refining their skills, or simply enjoying a creative escape, the goal is to provide a welcoming, playful, and inspiring environment.
Students are invited to explore, create, and take home pieces they can treasure — or simply enjoy the process of making something with their own hands.
