Spin on the wheel

DURATION —— 2h GROUP SIZE — 1–4 AGE ————— 12+ ABOUT Curious about pottery? This two-hour workshop is a fun, hands-on introduction to the pottery wheel. No experience needed — just come ready to get your hands messy and have fun! The session begins with a live demonstration covering the basics of wheel throwing, from wedging and centering the clay to opening, shaping, and forming a first pot. You’ll then have a chance to try it yourself at the wheel, with hands-on guidance and individual support from the instructor as you explore the process of shaping clay on the wheel. WHAT'S INCLUDED Clay, pottery wheel, tools, and hands-on instruction. Pieces created during the workshop are practice pieces. For an additional $25 pp, you can select up to three pieces to be finished by the instructor, including trimming, bisque firing, glazing, and high firing. Finished pieces are food-safe and dishwasher-safe. PICKUP Finished work will be ready for pickup in approximately 4–5 weeks.
