Serving Plate & Pinch Bowl

DURATION —— 3h GROUP SIZE — 3–6 AGE ————— 16+ ABOUT Create your own unique serving plate and small bowl from start to finish — no previous pottery experience needed. You’ll learn how to shape a plate using both the slab roller and pottery wheel, and how to pinch a small bowl by hand. With hands-on guidance, you’ll create the forms and then decorate your pieces using colorful engobes (colored slip) and pre-made stencils to add your own patterns and designs. This workshop is a chance to experience working with both a slab roller and a pottery wheel, learn how to pinch a pot, and explore a unique painting technique to create beautiful and functional pieces for your home. WHAT'S INCLUDED Everything you need is included: stoneware clay, tools, engobes (colored slip), stencils, and hands-on instruction. All pieces will be finished by the instructor, including bisque firing, application of clear glaze, and high firing. Finished pieces will be food-safe and durable. PICKUP Completed work will be ready for pickup in approximately 4–5 weeks.
